Last night on Fox 61 I saw the segment on The South Windsor Haiti School. I was pleased to see communities here in Connecticut have a concern for what needs to be done in Haiti. With my parents being of Haitian decent, The earthquake that hit last year hit home with me. Last November I was supposed to go down to Haiti to help out at an organization called Pwoje Espwa Sud (Project Hope) (Freethekids.org) in Les Cayes, Haiti. A Warden Message was addressed due to the on-going political demonstrations in Port-au-Prince. “ U.S. Embassy Port-au-Prince issued the following Warden Message on November 19, 2010:
The U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince is issuing this Warden Message to alert U.S. citizens that there are reports of demonstrations in downtown Port-au-Prince, around Champ-de-Mars and around the Faculty of Ethnology (Rue Magny/Rue Magloire Amboise and Rue Saint-Honoré/Rue Magloire Amboise). Roads are being blocked, burning barricades are in place, and further violence is expected. All travel to these areas should be avoided.”
I’m a college student that wants to help in any way shape or for. Hopefully this year I will be able to travel down to Haiti and help out. How could someone become a part of your committee?

I tried to write my info in the contact box but it said I didn't answer the challenge question correctly?!
